Nancy Mione Tinger is a licensed professional counselor who dedicates her professional ability to the well-being of her patients. She received her graduate degree from Marywood University in Scranton, PA in 1990. Nancy has been facilitating therapy with adults, children, and families since then. Prior to working at Desert Horizon she invested fifteen years of counseling and case management services to the Apache Junction community in Pinal County, including in-office and school-based counseling with school staff, CPS, JPO, and DDD.
Nancy facilitates marriage and family counseling and individual therapy for adults and youth. Her expertise encompasses adjustments and transitions, assertiveness, ADHD, childhood abuse, anxiety, depression, grief, post-traumatic stress, self-esteem, and life enrichment. Nancy implements cognitive and dialectal behavioral therapy with an integrative health awareness approach. She is skilled in art and play therapy. Nancy is a member of the American Counseling Association and the America Mental Health Association.
