With combined experience of more than 75 years, DHIM’s licensed counselors and clinical social workers are committed to helping our patient’s manage life’s challenges and meet their quality of life goals. Working in partnership with the patient and his/her medical providers, DHIM counselors and social workers develop individualized treatment plans addressing:
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Grief and loss
- Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
- Relationship challenges
- Self-esteem issues
- Trauma
Treatments include:
- Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT)
- Couples therapy and/or marriage counseling
- Crisis intervention
- Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT)
- Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR)
- Individual and/or family therapy
- Integrative treatment plans, as needed
- Psychiatric assessment and evaluation
- Resource coordination
Preparing for Your First Appointment
Most commercial insurance plans as well as Medicare and Medicaid/AHCCCS are accepted by DHIM. Please call us to verify that your insurance is accepted.
Please arrive to your first appointment at least 15 minutes early and bring the following items:
- Picture ID
- Insurance card
- Medication list, including medication name and dosage
- Referral or authorization (if you have one)
